EQUESTRIAN CENTER: We have finalized the management agreement with the St. Johns County Board of Commissioners. Next steps are to install a key pad gate and begin construction on the first arena. Members will be given gate pass codes to access the grounds — guests are welcome with members and signed agreements. Also in the works is a trail course thanks to friends of the horse council that are willing to donate time and equipment to get it started. The center is located on Smith Road in Hastings.

SAFETY HELMETS : The SJC Horse Council has Troxel helmets for sale for $20. Size x-small to large. We want to keep everyone as safe as possible while riding. To order one for yourself or someone you love, call Judy 904 692-3795 or email Judy Simms at jsimms@unf.edu
